WordPress maintenance

WordPress maintenance plans that report a number, not a checklist

Most maintenance retainers bill for a checklist that nobody reads. Ours bills for a measured delta: what the site was, what we changed, what it is now. If we cannot count it, we do not claim it.

What the work is

Four things, each of which produces a number you can check on your own site afterwards.

99.3%Autoload rows removed on Store A
0 → 261Category pages given real meta copy on Store C

Core, theme and plugin updates

Staged first where a staging site exists, with a rollback point taken before every batch. Auto-updates stay on for security releases.

Backups that are actually restorable

Off-disk, with a restore tested on a schedule. A backup living on the same disk as the site is not a backup.

Uptime and error-log monitoring

Including the logs above public_html that no site-level scanner can reach — that is where a 274 MB crash log was found.

Quarterly measured report

Search Console, Ads, Bing and Merchant Center where they apply, with the story attached. What we did and what we do next — never homework for you.

Measured on a live site

276,000 autoloaded rows, loaded on every single page view

A store that felt slow everywhere at once. Not one slow page — every page. That pattern points at the options table, not the theme.

What we run for you

Five jobs. Every month. Each one counted.

Retainers bundle all five. Any one of them can also be bought once, as a single measured pass with a before column and an after column.

Pricing

Plans priced on the work, not on the checklist

Month to month, no lock-in. Prices are per site, per month, exclusive of GST. Portfolios and multi-site estates are quoted on the estate.

FAQs

The questionseveryone asks first

Straight answers, including the ones about price, access and what we will not do.

Updates, backups, uptime and security are the floor — every plan has those. What separates a retainer from a host's support desk is the measured work underneath: autoload and database health, object cache sizing, bot policy, disk audits, and a quarterly report with a before-and-after column. Your host will never do any of that, because none of it is their responsibility.
